The Application Process

Step 1: Register On Eventbrite

This your OFFICIAL entry into the BuildHER Business Application Process. When registering on eventbrite, you MUST include your email and phone number with your registration. If you skip this step, you will NOT move forward. Within 48-72 hours of your eventbrite registration, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions and the link to complete your FULL pitch application.

Step 2: Semi-Finalist Virtual Interviews

After initial applications are reviewed, selected applicants will be approved to move forward as semi-finalists. All semi-finalists will be invited to a virtual interview to share more about their business.

Step 3: Finalist Selection & Mandatory Finalist Prep Workshop

A select number of semi-finalists will be chosen to move forward to the live pitch event on June 29, 2025. All finalists MUST attend a mandatory Finalist Prep Workshop scheduled for Sunday, June 8, 2025, to get ready for the live pitch. Failure to participate in this workshop could result your inability to pitch during the live event and/or be ineligiblel for the cash grants.

Step 4: Live Pitch Event

Finalists will pitch their business LIVE to a panel of judges and a public audience.
